Wind River is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to drive the market awareness and growth of our Development Tools portfolio; this is inclusive of Wind River Workbench and the On-Chip Debugging products. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing comprehensive technical product marketing plans in the embedded or development tools space. Candidates must demonstrate creativity in techniques and approaches for delivering relevant and emotive messages that reach buyers. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and executing an integrated marketing plan and working with a cross-functional product development and corporate marketing team. You will use your superior written and verbal communication skills to present the Wind River Development Tools value proposition to the Wind River sales force, customers and partners.
Responsibilities:
- Outbound product marketing; technical and business
- Development and execution of integrated product marketing strategy
- Working with alliance marketing to drive integrated partner marketing plans for Wind River Development Tools
- Maintaining alignment between product marketing and corporate strategy
- Event planning, including sales training, sales events, and support of tradeshows
- Content development and asset development for sales tools, sales collateral, social networking media, advertising, and press releases
- Driving brand recognition programs for Wind River Workbench and Wind River On-Chip Debugging solutions

| Job Description: |
Requirements:
- 5+ years product marketing engineering experience, with 4+ years of experience within the software industry
- Demonstrated success in product planning, launch and positioning
- First-rate oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with agility
- Ability to think creatively and take initiative, while managing multiple concurrent projects
- Development tools and/or Eclipse experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge of VxWorks and Linux is an asset
- BA/BS (computer science, engineering, marketing or equivalent), MBA a plus
