Wind River is looking for people with a passion for developing state-of-the-art virtualization technology for embedded devices. The ideal candidate should have strong background in x86 low level code, the Windows operating system and drivers as well as Hypervisors. The selected candidate will become a key developer of support for unmodified guest operating systems on the x86 hardware.

| Job Description: |
- 7+ years experience in system software development with excellent hands-on experience developing low-level software in C and x86 assembly
- Windows low level programming (HAL), Windows device drivers and Windows Internals
- x86 BIOS knowledge
- Intel VT hardware virtualization strongly desired
- Preferred system software experience in two or more of the following areas:
(a) Virtualization software and Hypervisors
(b) Intel VT hardware virtualization
(c) Kernel-level programming
(e) Embedded devices
- Ability to participate in complex technical discussions and initiatives
- Cross-development experience in Windows and/or Linux/Unix environments
- Strong communications and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a distributed team environment
- BSEE/BSCS/BSCE in Computer Science or equivalent. MSCS/MSEE/MSCE is an asset
